Just as dangerous as the jungle with its snakes, whers and poisonous shrubs and possible hidden thread burrows, the desert is normally a wasteland, the salty southern lake offering it little. The only respite comes from the river that runs through the middle, and the few oases that dot the desert, fed by underground water and the heavy wet seasons' rains.

The southern jungle that lines the coast is a very, very dangerous place. Wild Whers, Felines, & Wherries all pose a major threat to those that dare brave the dangers of the thick undergrowth and giant trees. Once safely in the confines of a jungle hold however, visitors are welcomed by big bonfires and cozy caves that change location with the seasons.

The Northern Coast of the Southern Continent is full of beautiful cliffs, caves and gorgeous spanning beaches. Plant-life is scarce due to threadfall over the last few turns, but much of the coast foliage near Stormhaven has seen some recovery.
