Right. The Ladijath. The green who could barely keep still in class wanted to test them, but play at creating her own? Irritation finally beat out lust, yellow overwhelming the purple in his swirling eyes. Let desperate fools claw for her attention. This served as a firm reminder why he had spent so little time with the green - she was exhausting and irritating. As she beckoned all of the males, from Isaroth she would get no words, just the heavy, hot feeling of rejection. She could have her fun making demands of the others, but Isaroth was done. Isaroth fell away with a dismissive snort.

A’lek felt her breath catch just a touch as she fully realized that she was pinned between S'vel and the stone wall. Jassara was giving her a look, and got an arched eyebrow in response. Her… whatever Red was… nearly ran her over, and Jassara was looking at her like that for being upset? Well, whatever. Isaroth’s irritation and lust slammed into her as he dropped from the flight and it was taking everything to bite her tongue and hold onto that tact she prided herself on.

She turned away from the flightroom entirely - only irritation was there. Looking up at S’vel instead as his soft voice, that concern, drew her mind back to the present, she found herself struck by how handsome he truly was. “I’m okay.” She whispered. “The emotions are a lot stronger than I thought.” Her hands were still on his shirt, and she smoothed it out. But her hands didn’t pull away from him. “I should go. Isaroth dropped out of the flight.” She could feel the brown going after a herdbeast, slaughtering it and tearing it apart none too gently.

The departure of Isaroth seemed to be the tipping point; Ladijath stopped dead in the air, wings flared and reflected his feeling of rejection back at him tenfold as she watched him drop away. So long sunshine! Try to be less of a goit next time you try to woo a lady, humm? She didn't much care right now if he accepted her words let alone acted upon them, that was his business. Her business however-

Come Muninnth, show me how fekking perfectly sublime I am! With a laugh and a flick of her wingtips the lithe green plunged to meet her larger partner and matched his wingbeats as she coiled her tailtips around his. If you really do want me, that is? One brown had decided he didn't, after she'd already written him off admittedly but she still wouldn't assume until he reached for her in return.

He heard S'vel speak, and he made to grin at him and say something but....

"Muninnth." Red rumbled the name as his gaze went a little unfocused; he and his were so close now they were one-yet-twain and he still... he still wanted things for himself. He was with her, he exalted in her choice, but he had the power to make his own.

Red inhaled, exhaled, and looked down. "Jassara." He swallowed and held one huge hand out to her, gentle and open and asking for her own choice. "I've waited for you. Will y'come with me, love?"

Muninnth bugled his elation and surged forward, I want you more than anything, my sublime Ladijath, the brown crooned. Ladijath's tailtips wrapped around his first but Muninnth was quick to speed up the process, winding his tail with hers at the same time he twined their necks. He flared his wings out to slow their descent - he wanted to take all the time in the world to demonstrate to this amusing, beautiful creature just how sublime he thought she was.

Sh'mil sucked in a breath and looked at Red as the big man said his dragon's name. It was clear that saying 'Muninnth' didn't mean that the greenrider wante him, Sh'mil, so the brownrider turned, ready to make a quick exit. He would find someone to spend the flight with in celebration of Muninnth's victory!

Disappointment swept through Margoth as Ladijath chose another. The bronze banked away sharply in response, now wanting nothing more than to go curl up on his ledge and sleep away the rest of the day.

Jassara gasped as the lust rolling off her bronze was abruptly placed with a more negative emotion. Her eyes flew open and she looked around a little wildly, stung to the quick over the fact that they had lost. Ladijath had chosen another and now Red... now Red...

Was standing right in front of her with his hand held out. Even with the emotions of the flight, even with Ladijath's choice, he still wanted her. And even better than that, he had called her love! Her heart melted entirely, and her answering smile was bright enough to rival the sun. "Absolutely," she said, her own voice husky with want.

She slid her hand into his and twined their fingers. They were in public and that sort of affection was more than ok now and if it wouldn't have been embarrassing later she would have hauled him down to the stone floor right then and there. Enough rational thought was left to her that she gently nudged him backwards and towards that door he'd stood in front of. No more blasted waiting, for either of them!

"Ah." Was the only reply S'vel offered A'lek at first, his tone was understanding and sympathetic. Was this her first flight experience? S'vel struggled against his own desires in an attempt to maintain his senses. He listened as A'lek whispered to him and he kept very still. Zolanth had dropped out of many flights in their turns together, so S'vel understood A'lek's disappointment and in this moment he shared it for he felt Zolanth turn away from the flight, Ladijath's choice having been made. Another better-formed answer offered itself to S'vel instantly for he saw clarity in his dragon's loss. S'vel spoke to A'lek without reserve, his voice soft so the others in the hall need not hear, but his words were clear.

"Why should you go?" There was a playfulness to the question, the intonation S'vel used implying it was rhetorical and that she should in fact not go. S'vel stared directly into A'lek's eyes to see her reaction to him not walking away. He was no spring wherry. She had made no move to leave, nor had she broken physical contact with him. The smirk on his face widened to both of his cheeks as S'vel marveled at the way A'lek's words didn't match the other things her body was saying to him. She didn't want to go, and that was more than enough for S'vel to cling to. Browns rarely won flights, too big for greens and rarely large enough for golds and S'vel thought A'lek should get used to making the best of her disappointments. He fully intended to make the most of the lust still coursing through him! S'vel pulled his hands from the wall, letting them fall to A'lek's shoulders.

"Perhaps you would like to go with me instead?" If it were presumptuous, she could say so and S'vel would turn on his heel to face the others in the hall. There were other partners either of them could choose among those in the hallway, and others that would no doubt be on their way, but for now, S'vel had made his choice. The glitter in his blue-grey eyes was only for the other brownrider and he stared into her dark eyes intent on hearing or seeing her answer.

A'lek had chosen to help get him out of the way of the greenrider's dash through the hall and chosen again to stay even after her dragon had fallen out of the flight. Such behavior intrigued S'vel to the point where he struggled to hold himself back as he waited for her answer. Insistent, but still careful, his hands gently caressed A'lek's shoulders while he waited for her response to his proposition.

And despite his best efforts Lishanth was not chosen; the blue dropped gracefully aside, disappointed but by no means riled. His rider on the other hand-

-fumed as Ladijath's reached for Margoth's. Why should he? Lishanth had performed better, of that she was entirely sure! Well, well fine! Very well! Let H'ren choose as he would and she would do the same! Perhaps she would not have the one she had chased, but she could seek to snare the winner instead and that would more than fill her desires.

"Sh'mil!" Sapphire called as the brownrider turned to leave, and as she spoke she swept confidently towards him. "Come with me, let us ride this flight out together."

Sh'mil stopped in his tracks and turned to look at the person who spoke to him so confidently. Sapphire was beautiful, there was no denying that, but the way she spoke was almost a command. Sh'mil himself didn't like that overly much, but Muninnth's lust was roaring too strongly through him to be ignored.

So the brownrider smiled at her, a little bit of mischief flirting with the expression. "Ask nicely," he said slyly, his smile getting a little wider.

@S'vel clearly thought she should stay, and she bit her lower lip, her cheeks flushing just a bit. Zolanth had also not won, she knew from Isaroth. She shouldn't be surprised - after all, the brown had never been particularly partial to Ladijath. That was part of why it had surprised her so much when he had given chase. But he had, and now she had her back against the stone, and was staring up at S'vel.

When he proposed that she go with him instead, the gentle bite to her lip was replaced with a smile, a flash of teeth as it widened, and for just a moment she looked away from him, seeming to hide the smile in her loose hair. When she looked back up at him, any irritation was replaced with lust. Did she want to go with him? What a question. His hands moved along her shoulders and there was part of her that just wanted him to grab her. But he was being polite. Even proper. It was good this way.

Her own hands moved up his chest, touching his bare neck. "I would love to go with you." She said, color flooding her cheek. But she met his eyes without hesitation. She had hoped he would ask - hoped, but didn't dare get too presumptuous. She took a step closer to the older brownrider. She definitely wanted to go with him, had hoped a situation would crop up like this since meeting on the mesa. It was pure good luck that her first flight had ended up with him in it too.

S'vel watched A'lek as she decided how to answer his question and when she turned playfully away from him, the smirk on his face changed to something hungrier, but also more intense. As soon as A'lek gave her answer, S'vel eliminated the distance between them by pulling her closer. He leaned forward and pressed his cheek to hers.

"Good." He whispered, his lips brushing her neck and ear as he drew away. S'vel caressed his hands down A'lek's back and arms to hold her hands. He released one, and stepped backward from her, the diabolical smile returned to his face. He turned and hastily drew A'lek down the hall by her hand into one of the unclaimed flight rooms.

Ladijath didn't need to beckon him twice; Remith crooned and eagerly twisted into a barrel roll of his own after her… but then she chose another, and the lust coursing through his veins evaporated almost immediately, as did the amorous purples whirling in his faceted eyes. Disappointment was a familiar emotion and while he never enjoyed it, he respected her choice all the same. He too angled his wings to quietly bank away with the rest while Ladijath continued her flight with Muninnth. Perhaps there'd be other greens to chase another time, but for now all he wanted to do was curl up on a sunny ledge for a while.
